This is a terrific class. The instructor is more of a tutor - with years of experience in ceramics - the techniques and history and wonderful background on connections to people and places. This is not a class for beginners but a way to have a plan for a term, of what one wants to learn and create. The class is particularly strong as participants take their own personal approaches to creativity and this encouraged. Largely self directed but with the support and guidance of the tutor. A really good experience - with permission to “recycle” things that just don’t work out!
Slow Clay provides a relaxed and enjoyable space to learn and develop in Clay. Thanks to Robyn Phelan for another great term providing knowledge and guidance, and to all the fellow hand builders and staff for shared enthusiasm. Anne
