This is my third class with Pila in porcelain Small Objects and wearables
The classes have been wonderful in allowing me to develop an understanding and appreciation of the qualities of porcelain
Pila is encouraging of individual progress and supports ideas with technical advice
The thing I love most about Slow Clay is the wonderful opportunity to work alongside practicing Ceramic artists who are so willing to share their own knowledge and experience with students
Slow Clay operates with excellent studio practice in terms of cleanliness, quality clays and timely and efficient firings

While I loved working with porcelain, I found the course frustrating. There were no notes and lessons were ad hoc. Much of the time was taken up with setting up, which should have been done before the lesson started, and cleaning up. We only got an hour or so to work.
