An amazing place to experience a slowing down of self and time, to reconnect with an age old tradition between humanity, creativity and earth. What a pleasure to find.

So, WHERE. DO. I. START!?
I now know why these classes book within minutes! I couldn't rave about this place anymore.
It is not just a school, it really feels like a little family. We had a wonderful teacher (Applause Alana) and even fell in love with the admin girls (they're really REALLY great. Like really)
I thought I would come home with a couple of pieces if I was lucky, but I get to make a heap. Some are even functional (haha they all are!)
And if you are like me and become addicted by week two and attend their SATS (3 hours a few times a week where you can go in, pay, and have an unsupervised session on the wheel- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) you can make a few more and more importantly get the practise in.
It is that good I signed up for next term and can't wait.
Great space, great group of ladies, great everything.
I give it 4,289 outta 10!
Thanks a bunch, see you in May!

I greatly enjoyed doing my wheel throwing beginners course at Slow Clay. Grace was a great teacher, she was very patient answering all my questions and helping me improve my skills. I learned a lot about wheel throwing and I would definitely recommend anyone interested in doing pottery to join Slow Clay!
