After a term of wheel, and a term of handbuilding, I am officially hooked.
The teachers, the staff, the founder - all equally passionate, caring, open, supportive and wondeful!
Totally recommend these ladies know their clay!

What can I say. I have loved doing form & surface so much this is my second term and I just booked in for a third.
I think that says it all.
It allows you to build on previous knowledge and try bigger and braver things each time.
I can't wait to create something new, so Pilar can tell me to slow down and be patient.
It's not my strong point...I want to see something immediately.
This was a marvellous and inspired 70th birthday present from family members. The two hours of the class fly by. It is such a lovely thing to be able to sit quietly and learn completely new skills (if you are a total beginner, as I was) which help you create in clay whatever inspires you - from the simplest little bowl, to complex 'flights of fancy'. Thanks to Pilar's expert tuition we were able to learn basic techniques and guided to produce a number of different classic clay objects - all the while being encouraged to let our imaginations run free. It was also a delightful opportunity to quietly chat with the small group while we worked and witness our multiple variations on a theme. Thank you for giving me a very special new life experience!
